Our Core Value, “To encourage and buildup by being The Extension of Christ…Faith in Action Believing When All Else Fails,” is the drumbeat of the driving force of our ministry. Many had become disillusioned by the lack of genuine compassion shown towards them during moments of crisis or when they needed an ear without fear of reprisal or judgment. Romans 5:8 NIV says: “But God demonstrated his love for us in this: While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Christ didn’t wait for us to become perfect, loving, and kind to receive us; he accepted us with our flaws, battered, challenged, and broken lives.
Our mission at Linda Ross Ministries is to be the extended hands of Christ by building people up, by offering them hope as we show them that they are worthy of God’s love because he (God) deemed us worthy, not because we’ve earned it or that we even deserve it but because he settled this matter a long time ago. Our message is God’s message; he loves us and desires for us to be connected with him.
“Jesus! What a friend for sinners!
Jesus! Lover of my soul;
Friends may fail me; foes assail me,
He, my Savior, makes me whole.”
This hymn exemplifies God’s unshakeable love for humankind through his son Jesus. The mandate of Linda Ross Ministries is simple, and that is helping people to believe that no matter what has happened in their lives or where they are today, there is hope in them being Restored and Reconciled back to God. There’s no magic wand and potion that will give people the confidence that their lives matter, but at Linda Ross Ministries, you will sense the love of God through a non-judgmental lens. This is possible because, at Linda Ross Ministries, we understand how brokenness will send you into a spiral of despair and rejection, which attempts to alter your destiny.
It may be a word of encouragement, a whispered prayer, a verse of scripture, or just an ear in listening when all the other voices are drowning you out; Linda Ross and her team want you to know that they believe the Word of God is as relevant today as it was 2000 years ago. Jeremiah 31:3 has not altered God’s opinion on how we should treat one another. “The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore, with loving kindness have I drawn thee.”
At Linda Ross Ministries, we believe that love is the key to our healing, love is the key to forgiving, and love is the key to restoration.
